Lightweight tents / portable shelter (survival gear)

If you are forced to flee your home or are not home when the worst happens, it helps (specifically in a rural / wilderness environment) to have some form of shelter. This by far is not the best and not meant to be permanent or sturdy as a full fledged camping style tent, but if you are on the move and need to be light and fast as you travel, a setup like this is lightweight, does not take up much space and can be quick to set up or take down. You can also throw a few in different placed like various bags or the trunk of your vehicle. Besides shelter, you can use them for a multitude of other purposes in a survival situation. If you are trying to be low key, they color can be a negative, but if you need to be found it’s a plus in a rescue situation. It may not keep you super warm, but it will keep you dry and fundamentally protect you from the environment. You can further insulate it no matter iff you have bedding or have to use makeshift bedding like dry branches and leaves. If you are in an outdoor environment you will have to protect yourself from the elements and this, though basic, can definitely get the job done if you use it to it’s fullest potential.
